Finningham Walk
Thursday, March 4th, 2010Leaving time from Diss is about 9.15am in order to park our cars at the Trowel and Hammer Pub at Cotton by 9.45am. Please go into the pub and order your lunch. You can use the toilet before starting the walk at 10.00am. The February walk at Needham, the only dry, sunny slot during a very wet week, was so good with excellent scenery and views of two barn owls hunting and ending with a good value lunch. Yes there were sixteen stiles to cross and lots of mud but you were warned! It may be difficult to match the quality of that walk, but some are already planning to do it again in the summer.
