The Diss Waveney Petanque Club has been chosen to host the annual county triples competition.
The prestigious tournament will take place at the club’s new terrain at Diss Town Football Club on April 18.
It follows a series of favourable reviews from visitors, bringing the new facility to the attention of county officials.
Club chairman, Cyril Bromley said: “This is very good news for the club. The past year has been a major project to build the new terrain and this is in recognition of the huge effort of all club members in getting the pistes finished to such a high standard.”
